SARAN. KAZINFORM – Tire factory in Sarani, Karaganda region has become one of the largest enterprises that provides jobs for local residents. The company started recruiting employees at the construction stage. To date, 177 residents of a single-industry town work at the plant. The reception of employees continues, the correspondent of MIA "Kazinform" reports.

Vacancies at the new plant are available in various specialties: from trimmers to product testers. The company at its own expense helps those who wish to obtain the necessary qualifications. Training and internship are held at the plant in Tatarstan. Those who have passed the internship are 100% provided with work. In the near future, another group will be formed, which will go to Nizhnekamsk in February.

"Today, the company has a staff of 408 people. Recruitment continues. There is a demand for specialists in 28 professions. We are ready to announce about 600-700 more vacancies on the Kazakhstan market, that is, this is the staff that needs to be recruited by the end of this year. 168 people are studying and interning in Nizhnekamsk. They undergo practical training, after which they pass exams, confirm their qualifications. All interns are provided with accommodation, paid for a transfer, they also receive a salary. The next group will leave for Tatarstan in February," says Vitaly Dedov, Assistant Director of KamaTyresKZ LLP.

He noted that employees trained in Nizhnekamsk are now involved in preparing for the launch of production, installation and commissioning of equipment.

Anna Kenzhebekova and Albina Sivenkova are indigenous residents of Sarani. They got a job at a tire factory through an Employment Center. After an internship in Nizhnekamsk, they work as process engineers of the OTC. Their stories are similar. They received higher engineering education, worked at enterprises. But after the birth of children and maternity leave, they found themselves looking for a new job.

"I even worked as a salesman. Then I found out that a tire factory is opening in our city and there is an opportunity to get a job in the specialty. I applied to the Employment Center, left a resume. After that, she was interviewed by the company and studied in Nizhnekamsk. Many of my relatives worked at the RTI plant. It was a shame when everything fell apart. I am glad that this site has been revived and I am working at a new modern factory," says Albina.

OTC process engineers are currently developing technological instructions. With the start of mass production, the quality of the products will be monitored.

New professions can also be mastered by specialists from other industries who have decided to change the sphere.

As previously reported, the tire manufacturing plant is a major project funded by the Industrial Development Fund (a subsidiary of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan, which is part of the Baiterek Holding). It is aimed at creating jobs and, in general, at developing the country's industrial potential.

In November last year, during a working visit to the Karaganda region, the tire factory was visited by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
