Only four days after the start of preferential car loans in the capital of Kazakhstan, the keys to a new car were handed over to the first participant in the program, the Association of Kazakhstan Auto Business reports.
Engineer Bekzat Tilegen became the lucky owner of the car. On May 16, he submitted an application for registration of a car without a down payment through Bank CenterCredit, which was the first of the banks to accept applications for consideration.
"This was truly unexpected. I applied along with many other candidates, and at that time, it was also my daughter's birthday. I went through all the procedures and returned home, but I never thought I would receive a call back from Chevrolet managers so soon. They informed me that I could proceed with signing the purchase agreement. I am grateful to the staff for their tremendous and well-coordinated work. Today, we are already picking up the keys. This is the first brand-new car for our family, and it is a significant milestone for us," shared Bekzat Tilegen.
Starting today, other Kazakhstanis will also have the opportunity to experience similar emotions. Car dealerships and second-tier banks, upon full compliance of applications with the program's requirements, are ready to begin the phased issuance of the coveted vehicles. According to the Industry Development Fund, participating banks have so far approved 4,290 applications totaling 31.7 billion tenge.
