On February 6 this year at 10:00 am Astana time, IDF JSC launched a pilot platform for accepting applications under the Preferential Car Loan Program (hereinafter referred to as the Program) on the autonesie.kz website. The platform was developed in order to ensure transparency in the implementation of the Program and to exclude favoritism when granting preferential car loans. As a result of the first launch of the platform, 761 participants aged 19 to 62 registered in the pool.

Since the launch of the platform, the largest number of visitors to the site autonesie.kz was observed in Almaty - 31%, Astana - 22.6% and Shymkent - 9.3%. The volume of revolving funds for the first launch of the platform amounted to 7.6 billion tenge. To date, 463 participants have already applied to car dealerships and received invoices for payment. The most popular car brands among the participants were Hyundai and Chevrolet.

To date, the participating banks of the Program (Eurasian Bank JSC, Bank CenterCredit JSC, Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan JSC and ForteBank JSC) have received and approved applications for a total amount of 2,549 million tenge.

The total period for issuing a preferential car loan from the moment the application is submitted on the platform to the issuance of the car is no more than 60 calendar days. It is also worth noting that upon receipt of a refusal to issue a letter of guarantee from one bank, the applicant has the right to apply to another bank participating in the Program.

We remind you that the issuance of preferential car loans has been carried out in Kazakhstan since 2015. To date, as part of the implementation of the Programs, 45,325 vehicles have been issued for a total amount of 281.5 billion tenge. Of these, 12,626 concessional loans totaling 100 billion tenge have been issued to Kazakhstanis through the Industrial Development Fund JSC since May 2022. Through DBK since 2015, 32,699 loans in the amount of 181.5 billion tenge.

It should be noted that preferential car loan programs are long-term, car loans will be issued on a monthly basis as funds from previously issued loans are returned.
